When you Configure Windows7 for the first time u wont see 'RUN', 'NETWORK' or Recent Documents in Start menu
How To Get back 'RUN', 'NETWORK' or Recent Documents in Start menu?
Right Click On the Start Menu >>Properties>>Customize>> Then give Tick mark to the items which need to be shown in the start menu
