Task Manager Disabled by Administrator

Some times you may receive a error while applying Ctrl+Alt+Del option that
"Task manager Disabled b Administraor"

Reason 1: The Task manager was disabled by Administrator for security reasons
Reason 2: The system Infected with Virus


If the Task Manager Disabled by administrator, Use the options
Start--Run--Gpedit.msc---Navigate to User configuration--Administrative Templates--System--Ctrl+Alt+Del option--Remove Task Manager--Set as not configured


If the system infected with virus

  • Clean the computer with a good antivirus

Solution 1: Start --Run--type exactly like this "REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f "  without quotes

Solution 2:
  • Click Start, Run and type Regedit.exe
  • Navigate to the following branch:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies\ System
  • In the right-pane, delete the value named DisableTaskMgr
  • Close Regedit.exe
