What are there for Kerala in the Railway budget

The railway Budget for 2012-2013 was disappointing. Only three trains were sanctioned for Kerala

which includes 2 memu train.

New Trains

• Kochuveli-Yesthupur weekly express tain

• Palakkad-Coimbatore-Erode memu

• Ernakulam ->Thrissur memu

Other Highlights

• Chennai-Shornur-manglore express will run on all days

• Kanyakumari Express will run twice in a week

• Manglore -Palakkad Express will be extended upto Coimbatore

•  Manglore -Trivandrum Express will be extended upto Nagercovil

• Paravur(kollam), Parappangadi-,Neeleswaram,Manjeswaram and Kottikulam stations will be promoted as Aadarsh Station

• Adequate fund will be given to palakkad coach factory

• Coach terminal in Kottayam & nemom
